Tomb stones - Situated in the island of Furana Fush, in front of the luxurious Full Moon Beach Resort. The break generates very long waves from the right, however it only works out with very large swell. Ideal with winds blowing in-land from south-west.

Jailbreaks - (or Prison Point). Situated on the island of Himafushi, this spot was only recently opened to surfers becouse it is located right across the national jail. Here you will find a perfect right wave fairly fast that starts off low gaining hight as it progresses.

Honky's - This spot is of medium difficulty located on the island of Thumuroodhoo. Here you will find an excellent and fast left wave. The wave sets off fairly small and it starts gaining height as it passes the reef taking on a semi-circular shapes that wraps up the left point of the Island. The best conditions are with a south swell and winds from east or north-est. In these ideal conditions you will experience wordly class surfing!

Sultans - This is probably the simpler spot in this area. It is situated on the right of Honky's adjacent to Thumuroodhoo's island. Here you will find waves generating from the right hand side that can become very long with swell from the south, best conditions are found with winds from the west and high tide. This spot is great even through storms and it is also a great spots when other are too challenging for one's full potential.

Pasta Point – This spot is situated infront of the Dhonveli Resort (ex Tari village). This is an excellent simple left wave even when it reaches 6 ft. However it seems that the break is only reserved for the clients of the Resort, therefore surfers that are just "dropping by" are not welcomed.

Ninjas – It is situated 20 min north of Malè. It is said that the name was given because it is particularly liked by Japonese surfers. This spot is situated north of Kani Resort or Club Med and it offers a great wave from the right ideal for longboarders and for amature surfers that wuold like to improve their tecnique.

Lohis – This spot is opposit to Ninjas, infront of the HudhuranFushi Island Resort (ex Lohifushi Resort). This is a long and concistant wave from the left. Every year from May to June this spot hosts the O'Neill Deep Blue's contest which is know for WQS. The wave is mainly characterized by two sessions starting off with a small swell and becoming one unique descent. This spot works well with north-west and north-east winds but it is ideal with swell from south-east and winds from north-west.

Cokes – It is situated about 30 min north of Malè. The name comes from the factory of Coca-Cola that is located on the Island where the spot is. This break has waves with more body and it is one of the most advanced Atol in the north part of Malè. It is a right wave with a rapid take-off. It works best with swell from the south and north-east winds. Ideal for whomever is interested in testing their surfing abilities.

Chickens – It is the spot opposite to Cokes, it is named after a chicken farm located on the island just across from it. The wave is beautiful and it is a fast left created by two sessions. Definately for more active and experienced surfers that like to enjoy the "tube" in the second part of the wave. Works well with winds from north-west and north-east. If the conditions of the swell is not ideal this wave becomes too fast.

Malè Island Point – This is a great wave that can be found by the Island of Malè. If you are touring around the capital it is great to check up on this particular spot. Usually it is a spot frequented by local surfers and body boarders.

Natives or Foxy - It is located in front of the Kandooma Holiday Inn, with a quick paddle across the lagoon, you will be able to surf the spot called Natives or Foxy`s ( if you know Lohis, the situation is similar except this waves is a righty). Here you will have perfect and fast right waves to surf!
Twin Peaks - Good left, which picks up more swell than most of the breaks in South Male’ Atoll. Can have a good end section in a big S swell. Access by boat.
Quarters - really nice, fast little right-hander that picks up less swell than most other places. Named after the resort workers’ quarters on the island.
Riptides - Small reef in the middle of the channel on the southern side of the island; fast right-hander, one of the best waves in the area. Access by boat.
